A Debate Competition Report
On June 5, 2014, at 10 a.m.June 5, 2014, at 10 a.m., our school hosted an inter-school debate competition in honour of World Oceans Day. Students from Abc Girls High School and Efg Boys school also participated in the competition. Our school’s associate head teacher, Mr. XYZ, served as the competition’s host. The topic for the debate was “Use of plastic containers should be prohibited,” and he chose the participants. Both proponents and opponents of the topic made arguments. The discussion was well received by the audience. The student parents were given the opportunity to vote after the discussion. The Abc School team led by Sima Das won the debating competition.
