Write A Report On Blood Donation Camp

Dinhata, February 10, 2022: On the 9th of February, 2022, the Shanti Sangha club of Dinhata held a ‘BLOOD DONATION’ camp. Every year on this day, the club hosts a camp like this to raise public awareness about people’s social responsibilities.
The camp was attended by all of the people living in the area voluntarily. 84 of blood were obtained in total. The camp, which was organised with the assistance of the Dinhata Blood Bank, began at 8 a.m. and lasted until 4 p.m.
The camp was started by Dr. N Deb, Dr. MN Dey, and the rest of the Dinhata Blood Bank’s paramedical team. Dr. Deb gave an opening address about the necessity of holding such programmes when he officially opened the camp.

The participants’ blood pressure and haemoglobin levels were tested before they donated blood throughout the blood donation process. This allowed the participants to have a better understanding of their health conditions. After donating blood, the participants were given refreshments.

Blood samples were tightly packed before being shipped. There were lots of smiles and laughter throughout the morning, with the club members and the locals exhibiting a lot of togetherness. The organisers gave the benefactors a credit card and a certificate of appreciation.
