republic day speech for students on the 26th of January in English

Good morning, everyone. My name is…… In class, I read….. As you are all aware, we have convened here for the extremely momentous occasion of our country’s Republic Day. In front of you, I’d like to deliver a Republic Day speech. First and first, I want to express my gratitude to my class teacher, because it is only because of her that I have been given this fantastic opportunity in my school to speak on this stage about my beloved country on Republic Day.

Since August 15, 1947, India has been a self-governing country. On the 15th of August in 1947, India gained independence from British rule, which we celebrate as Independence Day. However, since 1950, we have celebrated Republic Day on the 26th of January. The Indian Constitution came into existence on January 26, 1950, and we commemorate this date every year as Republic Day. The 67th Republic Day of India is being commemorated this year.

The people living in the country have supreme power, and only the people have the right to pick their representatives as political leaders to guide the country in the proper direction. As a result, India is a republic in which the people elect their leaders, such as the president, prime minister, and other officials. Our great Indian liberation heroes have fought hard for India’s “Purna Swaraj.” They did it so that their future generations would not have to struggle and that the country would progress.

Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekher Ajad, Lala Lajpat Rai, Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel, Lal Bahadur Shastri, and others are among our great Indian leaders and independence warriors. They never stopped fighting for India’s independence from British domination. We will never forget what they gave up for our country. On such important days, we should remember them and salute them. It is only because of them that we are able to think for ourselves and live freely in our country without the use of force.

“We see the whole of this huge land brought together under the jurisdiction of one constitution and one union which takes over responsibility for the welfare of more than 320 million men and women inhabiting it,” remarked our first Indian President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. What a shame that our country is still facing crime, corruption, and violence (in the shape of terrorists, rape, theft, riots, strikes, and so on). Again, we must band together to save our country from slavery, which is preventing our country from moving forward in its development and advancement. To move forward, we must be cognizant of our social challenges such as poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, global warming, inequality, and so on.

“If a society is to be rid of corruption and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly believe there are three essential societal members who can make a difference,” Dr. Abdul Kalam remarked. They are the Father, Mother, and Educator.” As citizens of the country, we should think about it seriously and make every effort to lead our country.

Thank you very much, Jai Hind.

Speech for Students on the 26th of January in English (Sample)

Respected principal, teachers, and my dear friends, good morning. My name is (Your name), and I am a student in Class (Your class name). I would want to give a speech on Republic Day.

On this Republic Day, I’d want to express my gratitude to my class instructor for allowing me to speak about the holiday. Today, we are all assembled here to commemorate our nation’s 73rd Republic Day.

Our country received its constitution on January 26, 1950. We gained independence on August 15, 1947, but until January 26, 1950, we were subject to British law and regulations. Since January 26, 1950, we have had our own set of regulations and laws that apply to all Indians.

After many arguments and amendments, we now have the constitution we have today. The constitution’s drafting committee was established on November 26, 1949, and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was chosen as its chairperson. The constitution was ratified after debate in both chambers, and we became a republic country. The citizens of the country have the ultimate ability to elect representatives in a republic. Regardless of religion, race, or language, the Constitution guarantees that we all have the same rights.

The Indian capital, Delhi, hosts a huge Republic Day extravaganza. On this day, ceremonial marches in the presence of the President take place on the Rajpath. The festivities begin at the Rashtrapati Bhavan’s gates. The President of India raises the national flag and delivers a Republic Day speech to the country. On this day, the country’s highest honors are bestowed for army and civilian martyrs and heroes.

Whether you’re at home or at the parade, you should rise to show your respect for the national anthem. It’s a day that inspires us to think beyond caste, creed, religion, state, language, and color, and it helps us all feel the same way about our country.
