What is adjective?
Adjectives describe words; they change nouns and pronouns. Adjectives add more meaning to nouns and pronouns.
Adjectives answer one of four questions about nouns and pronouns: How many? How much? Which one? What kind?
Examples for How many?:
some students
all colors
few requirements
several awards
Examples for How much?:
less freedom
greater happiness
more room
enough trouble
Examples for Which one?:
this book
that seat
the other teacher
the first chance
Examples for What kind?:

Some adjectives can also come in other forms: articles, nouns, pronouns, and verbs. When they describe, or modify, a noun or pronoun, however, they are considered adjectives.

Nouns Used as Adjectives:

Pronouns Used as Adjectives:
Pronouns used as adjectives are possessive in nature and have antecedents, which are the words, phrases, or clauses to which pronouns refer. Pronouns used as adjectives will answer the question Which one?

Verbs Used as Adjectives:
Verbs that describe or modify a noun — usually those ending in -ing or -ed and coming directly before a noun — act as adjectives.
