To avoid the spread of the virus, schools have been closed, giving place to online courses, a very new notion in India, even for the most advanced schools. The ease with which certain educational institutions have transitioned to virtual classes, due to tools like Zoom, Google Hangouts, and Microsoft Teams, is admirable.

Advantage OR Merits of online learning

With the use of technology and internet resources, online classes allow for novel teaching methods. It allows you to reach out to a big number of pupils from all around the world. It is very beneficial for distance learning. Pupils are taught utilizing a variety of online tools and methodologies. They can work productively while listening to recorded and live chats. Not only are academics virtualized, but so are a variety of extracurricular activities such as yoga, arts, encouraging lecturing, author presentations, and any other potential activity.

Disadvantage OR demerits of online learning

In online learning, teachers may lack experience in developing digital content and effectively communicating it online. In an online lesson, facial expression and eye contact, which are essential teacher indications, are difficult to detect. Internet prices are also rising, and not everyone can afford to learn online.  online learning is not healthy for them because it lacks discipline. Everything about internet schooling is scripted.
